Stayed here for a week. We only ate the hotel restaurant once as the food was over priced and I have had better meals at Denny's. The room was great

It disappoints!

We stayed at the Mayfair for New Years. Would not go back. We asked for the hot tub to be activated and had to wait an hour and call down to the front desk to get staff to come and activate it. Waited another hour for it to fill and heat as instructed and got in. It was broken and flooded the hotel room. The next night they moved us to a different room, but our plans didn't allow us to use the hot tub again with the whole activation process (very lengthy and inconvenient) and everything. We ordered room service for breakfast and never received it. The staff was not friendly or accommodating. I never got breakfast despite speaking with a manager. Would not recommend the Mayfair. Had better service at much more reasonably priced hotels. When you pay for a hotel like the Mayfair you expect great service and a comfortable stay. It disappoints!

Terrible service..

Not worth it. Our room was small (although pretty). Staff was exceptionally rude and uncooperative in returning an item left in the room. Will never return.

Unfriendly Service, Loud and Light Room

The location is fantastic and the hotel is beautiful. The staff is not helpful and quite unfriendly. The dryer, TV remote, and hot tub didn't work. Staff didn't care or try to help. There was LOUD music until 5:15 a.m. (I know because we were still awake). There were no blinds to block the light. We tried to switch rooms, but the hotel staff refused. It was one of the worst nights I have ever experienced at ANY hotel. I would rather stay at the Motel 8.

The Best Of The Best !

My family and I had stayed at the Mayfair Hotel in June of 2006.
It had been recommended by family as one of the best hotels in the Miami area.
It was the Best of the Best. The Coconut Grove area was a great vacation for us.
But coming back to the Mayfair to relax was wonderful.
The staff treats you like royalty, the rooms are spot on perfect, and the beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept on.
Plan your next vacation, or romantic getaway at the Mayfair, Coconut Grove Fl.
We are already planning ours. It truly is the Best of the Best
