Chicago's best kept secret,The Majestic Hotel

Just a block away from several bus stops, restaurants, cafes, unique stores and Wrigley Field, the Majestic is a real gem. Near the beach and Lincoln Park Zoo, this 1920's hotel is completely remodeled (Flat screen TVs, comfy linens, updated bathroom fixtures, AC). Staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. A continental breakfast with much more than coffee and danish is served in an old English style sitting room. You'll love the hotel...and the price.

Quaint and quiet hotel

We stayed here for 2 nights while in town to see a concert at Wrigley Field. Within walking distance to lake Wrigley and the lakefront. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Bed and breakfast feel to the hotel. We had King suite with sunroom, very nice. However, without the sunroom it would have been a bit small. It was a long cab ride to downtown area, but we knew this ahead of time. Parking was next door in a parking garage with in/out privledges. We will stay here again when going to Wrigley Field.

Great service

The service was AWESOME. Only problem I had was the stairs that were right by the room, you can hear EVERYONE coming up and down them all night long. You can hear everyone talking, kept me awake. Other than that, it was a great room.

This was an amazing hotel for the money

This was an amazing hotel for the money and extremely close to Wrigley and the train. There is nothing I didn't like about the hotel.“This was an excellent hotel for the price. It is very close to Wrigley Ville, Lakeview and Lincoln Park. I had the king suite, which was cheaper than standard rooms at some other hotels, and it was a huge room, very nicely furnished. I will always stay here when visiting this area of Chicago.”

Nice neighborhood, easy walk to Wrigley Field & Broadway area.Complicated cable remote, but printed instructions were good.“Very pleasant area, close to bus and El train. Nice breakfast area and lobby, more like a grand living room. Rooms are very cozy with comfortable Sheraton type beds.”

Everything!Not one thing!“Everything

Everything! Not one thing!“Everything about this hotel is fantastic! The rooms are petite and romantic, there is always coffee and cookies in the lobby for free and continental breakfast was delicious! I will forever come back to this hotel! The staff is so knowledgeable and taught us how to use the bus system, anywhere we needed to go they got us there. They hold the door for you every time and carry your bags to your room. I loved this place! It's also close to shopping and eating in a very quiet homey part of town. I would live here if I could! Thank you Majestic Hotel and the front desk lady for making our stay so unforgettable!”

The atmosphere is very nice, the staff

The atmosphere is very nice, the staff is friendly. The location is not convenient to trains.“The neighborhood is great, a beautiful spot tucked between Lake Shore Drive and North Halstead. This is an old-world style building (lots of stairs). It is beautifully decorated, the rooms are small (cozy), but with a very spacious bathroom (my room The room was very comfortable, but lacked a view). Housekeeping was good. Overall, the hotel was very quiet. The wireless internet system was very easy to use, and provided for free. The room lacked an iron and ironing board, which is annoying. Parking is very difficult and the valet takes a long time. I will certainly return, but this is not the best choice if you need easy in-and-out with a car.”
