We took a King bed room suite but the bed was so Hard that my leg muscles and neck and back kill me. we left 1st thing Mon Morn. Needless to say View overgrown with brush & trees they should removed for the view couldn't get fireplace to work. and the jacuzzi tub whoever is the house cleaner really needs to scrub the jets and wash it! I think that they just spray it then wipe. the new shower is already growing mold. My kids loved the play area and swimming area as my husband and I sat in the screend in porch for hours watching the birds on the lake. The staff were terriffic and I was told by them that they were condos now but they still run the same as always and all the regulars (add us!) are still coming year after year! The cabin in my opinion was unsanitary and just plain gross. The blinds didn't work and the septic was backing up. The staff never made the bed or gave me new towels, it was a complete total nightmare of a visit. I must say that the hotel portion looked much better then the cottages. My largest complaint was when I checked out, I voiced a complaint and all I got was a glance and the man then continued to read his paper. Not even an "I'm sorry you had a bad stay with us". He could have cared less! I was lucky enough to find this place. It is within 25 minutes of the race track and very comfortable. It was somewhat of a home away from home .... so much so that we didn't want to leave when the time came.
