The front desk staff is friendly, they speak English and some of the employees have been there for more than 10 years. This hotel is one block from Ave Revolucion and is a short walk or cab ride to most places in Zona Centro and Zona Norte. Parking

I love this hotel. Get a garden terrace

I love this hotel. Get a garden terrace room, which is quiet and away from the street. The rooms are safe, clean, and pleasant. The hotel has parking, and it is 1 block to Revolucion Street for restaurants, crafts, and shopping. It is about 10 minutes from the border in a taxi.

All Review Photos DOWNTOWN HOTEL IN

All Review Photos DOWNTOWN HOTEL IN TIJUANAStaying at the La Villa de Zaragoza was a wonderful experience. The motel is well located and within walking distance of Revolution Ave. It is near the old Jai Lai Palace. The room was clean, although a little dark. There was a pleasant courtyard which my room opened out to. The parking lot is within the confines of the motel and seems very safe and secure. There is a bar and a small open kithen on the premises with good coffe and food.I had dropped my wallet with a credit card in it on the floor of my room and didn't realize it was missing for 2 days. The staff at the Zaragoza had it safely secured and waiting for me when I finally returned for it. They were wonderful. They also have a secure safety deposit box at the front desk.I highly recomend this motel for budget minded travelers to this vibrant city. Here is part of their website:"An unbeatable location - an easy drive from the border (just behind Jai Alai Palace) and one block from the world-famous Avenida Revoluciòn, situated within the tourist, banking, crafts, and shopping districts.
Standard brick hotel with modern

Standard brick hotel with modern facilities. Clean, quiet. Nothing special, but no unpleasant surprises either. A good restaurant, Ricardo's, next door. Also a restaurant on site (we didn't try that one). The Villa is a somewhat "in between" hotel, somewhere between the luxury hotels on the Playa, and the budget hotels in the Zona Norte. It fit our needs well. Close to all the shopping and clubs on Ave. Revolucion.
