RUN FROM THIS FILTHY HELLHOLE!!!!

My experience was the worst hotel experience anyone could ever have!!!! I was not given the balcony room I reserved. The hotel DOES NOT have an exercise room that they advertise. Significant daylight streamed in the door that did not lock properly. The room was DISGUSTINGLY filthy, filthy fingerprints covered every surface, the bathroom door and doorframe was covered in black fingerprints, the tile grout was BLACK with filth. I requested non-smoking and was placed in a smoking room with a cig. burn in the comforter. The walls were all full of holes and pock-marks. Extremely limited parking was available. Noisy as hell, parking area, AC unit, patio area. Don't expect the manager to be of ANY help or to telll the truth about anything. If you reserve a room.... expect a bait and switch tatic and NOTHING more ... other than disgusting filth!!!!
And don't expect LaQuinta to honor their pledge of 100% satisfaction to its' returns members!!!!!! They offer no guarantees of any kind!!!!!! I'll never stay at another LaQuinta EVER!!!!!

Oceanfront by kar r. at InsiderPages

This oceanfront La Quinta was a little more expensive than most La Quintas but you can find weekend deals. The rooms were not as clean as most in the chain and were a little run down. However, the location right on the beach in Daytona Beach made up for the rooms. They have a nice pool area that directly overlooks the beach and is a very comfortable area for just relaxing.

We visit Daytona Beach every year and

We visit Daytona Beach every year and this was our first stay at LaQuinta. It's right on the beach and in the middle of shopping and restaurants. The beds were very comfortable, with down pillows and a down comforter. House keeping is great and our room was spotless each day when we returned from the beach! We had an over abundance of towels each day, too! The continental breakfast had a great variety of foods and good coffee (although I would suggest getting there early, as it goes pretty quickly). There is on site laundry, which we used a few times. Vending and ice are on each floor. There is a nice pool with a lovely patio area to sit at night and listen to the ocean. Parking is at a minimum; that was probably our only complaint. We can't wait to go back next year and would recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, safe, comfortable stay.

The room was beautiful and the front

The room was beautiful and the front desk let us check in early(on spring break). The room was cleaned every day....fresh towels, more shampoo, made the beds, and even changed our sheets. The staff is really friendly. The only thing they don't do is sweep. The pool was great. My children are 4 and 8 months old and the walk in entry is amazing. Location is great near shopping and attractions. Best hotel stay we ever had. Thanks La Quinta we will be back next year.

After not seeing my boyfriend for over

After not seeing my boyfriend for over 2 months, this was a great getaway for us. The hotel exceeded our expectations. The room and bathroom was gorgeous with all new furniture and appliances including a large mini-fridge. The room looked as if it had not been even used before we were in it and I loved it! The pool was nice as was the jacuzzi. Even during the week of spring break the hotel was quiet and almost only consisted of families which was nice. I was pleased with the staff as they were prompt in any request we had. I was extremely pleased with the room and would definitely stay there again.

My mom and I were in Daytona for ten

My mom and I were in Daytona for ten days. We did a few 'tourist' things and then spent the better part of five days at Daytona International Speedway. We had a mini-suite on the first floor with two queen beds, two t.v.'s, a separate sitting area and a kitchenette which consisted of a microwave, small fridge and sink. The housekeeping was barely adequate as the shower was not cleaned during our entire stay and tips of $3 to $5 were left daily for the housekeeper. The room and bathroom were ceramic tile with carpet under the beds only. Understandable considering the amount of sand that a person can track in from the beach which was just past the pool. The ceramic floor was not mopped daily, though, and we had to ask for extra towels a couple of times. The parking lot was very small but adequate. The workout room was pathetic. The equipment was really old and in dire need of being replaced. I used the treadmill as it was the only one that really worked and even it would slow down and then speed up on it's own. I had to call twice to complain about the person in the room next to us watching t.v. with the sound blasting. It woke me up at 2:30 and 12:30 in the morning on two occasions. The staff did take care of this immediately which was nice. Speaking of staff...when we arrived, there was a nice young lady at the desk. She was there most of the weekend and then on Tuesday. I didn't see her again after that. The rest of the staff were of Middle Eastern descent and not overly friendly or helpful. The mattresses in our room were Simmons Beauty Rest which was very, very nice.

Gorgeous Hotel

My family, and I loved this hotel! Their pool walks in like a beach, and has a children's mushroom that sprays down water. My 3 year old played all day, and I didn't have to worry a bit. We checked out several other hotels in the area, and after looking at about 4 or 5 different ones we decided on this one. They were by far the cleanest one on the strip, and their front desk staff are very friendly, and attentive. The other hotels along A1A are dilapidated, and rugged. Beware of which one you stay at. Make sure you check the rooms first, we noticed that a lot of them looked great on the outside, but the inside was a mess! The La Quinta is our choice for next year also!
