This motel offers ease of highway access, and the public spaces are generally clean. I liked the separate room they have reserved just for their free breakfast. Plus free Wi-Fi internet. However, I was given a room on the below-ground floor level opposite the maids' cleaning room. The room had a below-ground view of dirt - this side of the hotel was not landscaped! The hotel was comfortable, clean and convenient to the Shakespeare theater festival. Strangely, the hotel staff had no idea how to direct us to the theater festival, which was literally within minutes of the hotel and the only major attraction in Ashland. The price was reasonable for Ashland (very touristy so most motels/hotels are spendy). One perk, they're outside of city limits so you only pay teeny tax, not regular city hotel tax. The Continental breakfast was wonderful, the rooms were clean, and the service was nice. The Hot tub heater went out during our stay, so that was a little disappointing. Booked a 4 night stay, but decided to check out a day early and only stayed 3 nights. The first day we receive no maid service. The second day the beds were made and we received no towels, but they did not clean the bathroom sink, the toilets or vacuum the floor.
