Close to airport, yet not in the middle of the city but along the gulf shore. Everything was clean, hotel and casino. Personnel very friendly and helpful. They have a very good buffet at very reasonable prices. The bed was very comfortable. Location was good for us. We were visiting a friend and we drove the coastal highway several times, very easy driving with an ocean view all the way, and easy to get to other casinos if we wanted. The spa bathroom was bigger than any I had ever seen. Our view was very nice, overlooking the gulf and the new bridge. The people at the desk, the casino and the restaurants were extremely courteous. We arrived a day early and had no trouble at all getting a room for the extra night. Valet parking was fast; the attendants very friendly. We will definitely stay here again. Our stay was very pleasant. The clerk at the front desk was so friendly even though the line was very long to check in. Upon entering the room, we were pleasantly surprised at how big and spacious the room was!! The room was decorated in very bright colors and had a very pleasant smell. The bathroom was very clean and we had plenty of towels, not just enough for the people who stayed in the room. The night buffet which served seafood was great as well as the breakfast buffet. Each buffet had a varitey of food so that everyone could be pleased. My family and I decided to stay in Biloxi for the New Year's holidays and made reservations at the Isle, due partly because we were familiar with the local Isle of Capri hotels in our area and had never had any problems. However, our stay at this particular hotel was a NIGHTMARE. I had made reservations online to secure a smoking balcony double queen bed room with a view for 2 days, and in the comment section, informed the hotel that we would be a late arrival. We drove 7 hours anticipating our relaxing and wonderful stay at the Isle, but when we arrived at 9 p.m., we were very rudely informed by the front desk clerks that the hotel doesn't receive the notations made with online reservations on the hotel's website, that we should have contacted them directly, then told us the only rooms they had available was a 1st floor or 4th floor room. Exhausted from our drive with a 6 year old, we decided to stay on the 4th floor to make the most of our stay. The room was horrid, the tub had a constant flow of water that could not be shut off, and the view from the 4th floor was of a roof, nothing else. The water drip was so loud and distracting we were unable to sleep. The next morning we informed the front desk clerk, who claimed to be the supervisor, that we were leaving because of the horrid conditions. She then rudely told me that we would not be refunded because we booked a package. I attempted to explain that I did not book a package and the room they placed us into was not the room I had reserved for a higher rate, but she would not refund the stay until the security director became involved. Later I discovered from my credit card company that they charged the higher rate anyway AND and a cancellation fee!!! Shame on you Isle if Capri! I was just settling for a hotel that wasn't too pricey that would be near the coast. I called travel website and the agent suggested this hotel. I got a great deal and wasnt expecting much. When I drove up, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the hotel/casino was huge, very clean, and comfortable. As a single, traveling woman, I felt very safe at this hotel. They also have good room service; at a very reasonable price. The valet service is great and paid on tip only. They have the best beds and wonderful, large bathrooms.
