I have stayed in many hotels in Cairo, but the staff go a little further here. There is a genuine warmth and level of service that will keep me coming back, the food is tasty whether breakfast or dinner.Coffee in the morning perfect try it with one of their pastries. If you go there, your politeness will be met 10 fold. Thanks to the manager of the Pyramids Park Intercontinental Shariff for the hospitality he had shown us we will be back..... Mike from central Canada

3 star at best

Located next to a highway, miles from town this 3 star hotel is absolutely awful. The rooms are housed in what look like chalets and are substandard - cheaply furnished, inexepnsive carpet - absolutely 100% awaful - we moved after 1 day and paid an extra $1200 for a proper 5 star hotel.

NO 4 Star

We have traveled extensively and this is definitely not a four or five star hotel.
The hotel is impressive when you pull up and walk thru the pool/courtyard area. After that, its a two star hotel. Rooms are close to a major highway and the traffic and honking will annoy you all night, never any silence. My wife got severely sick and I had to beg for toilet paper and tissues. Maids do not replace used stock items. Apparently you are given a set amount of items to last your entire stay. Only saving area for this hotel was the Italian restaurant. Staff was friendly, great, and bi-lingual. Food there was our safe haven. Not close to most sights - 1/2 to 1 hr travel.

We had this hotel booked for us through GlobalGate tours, please stay away from them and this hotel. It is way past its prime. It’s not accessible for anyone with a walking problem or any kind of breathing problem. The rooms were old and very dirty. There were flies and mosquitoes everywhere, at the best it is a 3star hotel and facilities.

Service was great

Everyone was so nice and helpful there...the drivers were a real blessing, having a private car and driver from the hotel without having to chase down and hassle and haggle with taxi drivers made my sight seeing outings so much nicer...and the prices for that service were not much more than a regular taxi was.
In the hotel I was always able to find someone who spoke english to help me...a Bank to change money right in the lobby...several resturants and gift shops there at the hotel...all with very helpful friendly welcoming staff.
The Hotel itself was nice, but it was the customer service that made my stay so great!
