Inn of Rossyln

This is probably the worst place I have stayed in 30 years of traveling! The shower head allowed only a very slow flow, about the same as the vanity faucet. Both Hot and Cold shower knobs came off and could not adequately adjust the hot and cold water. The bath soap was the size of 50 cent piece. The bathroom window was to the front of the room and you could see and hear people walking by, checking in. There was a large trash bin outside and behind the room and someone kept throwing trash into it until midnight. The pillows were small. The one thing good, was the size of the room and the furniture seemed sturdy. Certainly would not stay or recommend to anyone as it is not worth the value. Another good thing is the Staff was very friendly!

I picked this hotel for its proximity to the metro and for the low rates.
There`s a shuttle that takes you to the metro but I decided to walk, it`s only 6 minutes.
The room was clean and the girl working at the front desk was very helpful.

Great place to stay for the budget-minded!

This place is older, but very clean. It offers a small breakfast selection, the rooms are cleaned every day, and a shuttle will bring you to and from DCA and to the Rosslyn Metro Station. Friendly, helpful staff. Great place for the budget-minded

They really know how to roll out the red carpet.

This place has a unique policy for a hotel. At 12 midnight, they just close. If you arrive after midnight, as I did, too bad. Night manager? Nope. Call them? Nope--just an answering machine saying "closed". There is a very nice Best Western, a few doors down. The manager there told me he gets lots of business from folks foolish enough to assume the Inn of Rosslyn is staffed 24 hours a day. And yes, after saying they wouldn't, the Inn of Rosslyn charged my credit card, as a no-show.

First floor rooms are door to door from

First floor rooms are door to door from car to room. Perfect for Grandma and easy to get stuff in and out of the car.“Convenience. Less than 3 miles to terrific neighborhoods for shopping and dining, the Chinese embassy where we needed to get Visas, walking distance to the Rosslyn Metro station, and cool retro bathroom. In the morning I made myself fresh coffee and grabbed a bagel from the continental breakfast. At night I threw restaurant leftovers into the room's mini-fridge. Everything is tidy, in excellent working order and in a safe neighborhood. Perfect for independent individuals, who feel pampered by tangible conveniences rather than expensive-looking furnishings and superficial details.”

Has everything you NEED

Our son goes to Georgetown and we went to DC to see him and the sites. We were not there to relax in a fancy motel- hot tub, pool, internet, etc. This motel had all that you NEED, was very clean, surprisingly quiet at night. The staff all were very kind and helpful, especially Paul, the handyman and shuttle driver.

It is an older building but has been kept up very nicely. We used the ironing board to put our toiletries, etc on as the bath didn't have a large counter. We made due and saved a ton of money!! We WILL go back there when we visit our son again.

It was a nice walk to Rosslyn metro station but we did use the shuttle a couple of times. We never saw any bugs at all.

The motel was ok for a very quick one night.Very small office. In a residential area; difficult to get to from highway.“Fortunately I called the motel due to a very late arrival (after midnight). Everyone said she had not received my reservation and it wouldn't be there until the next day.”
