The Inn at Jackson is a very special place in a very special village- an oasis in the White Mountains! The village has an abundance of fine dining choices and the Inn is an elegant, yet relaxing choice for a weekend (or more!) away from home.It is peacful, the breakfasts are superb and is within walkking distance to everything in the village-so unusual in those parts!
Rooms are spacious and linens are luxurious-the outdoor hot tub a real bonus too!
We look forward to our next visit as soon as possible!

We recently stayed at the Inn At Jackson. We had some travel issues and called ahead to notify of our late arrival, and staff member Chrissy assured us that she would leave the room key and detailed instructions, and "would take care of us" - which she did.

The Inn is older but well-maintained and with clearly updated amenities in the bathroom, along with other modern conveniences. The bed was probably the most comfortable of three B&Bs we stayed at over the full week of vacation. We also liked the guest access bar area, with refrigerator, ice and water and other glassware and utensils.

Breakfast is served at individual tables and the atmosphere is incredibly laid back and accommodating. Want an extra breakfast - just ask. Plenty of juices and coffee, along with different variety of really good scones every morning to start with. The title of this review characterizes this Inn best - No Rules, Just Right.

My wife and I stayed at the Inn at Jackson for the 11th Annual Cookie Tour. This was also the first time away from our two-year old for an extended period of time. We were both newvous and excited. What a treat!! During the tour, we both got to see 16 other inns and look at their rooms and talk to the innkeepers as well as sample delicious cookies. After the tour, we knew that we had made the right choice in picking the Inn at Jackson for our stay. Don, the innkeeper, was amazing and the breakfasts each morning were more than enough! We can't wait to go back.

My husband and I went there for his birthday in February. It was close to snowmobiling; it's a beautiful area. The Inn at Jackson was very warm and inviting. The breakfast was outstanding and Don couldn't have been nicer. We will definitely go back again.

great loaction in a very pretty village

Good points: Great location in a very pretty village in a fantastically scenic area; attractive, well-maintained and efficiently-run hotel with lots of thoughtful extras such as complimentary afternoon tea and cakes; ample free parking; nice grounds with a decent-sized but unheated outdoor pool and a small hot tub; delicious, imaginative, beautifully-presented and varied food, (we’d recommend the breakfast specials); good-sized bedroom with ridiculous but comfy huge feather mattress and super big bathroom with jacuzzi bath

Let down by: Noisy generator (if you had the bedroom windows open); upstairs corridors narrow and felt oppressive

New England gem

We have just returned to the UK after a tour of New England and have not stopped talking about our excellent stay at the Inn at Jackson, the best Inn of several that we visited. Don and Joyce, the new proprietors have created a beautiful, welcoming and relaxing haven in the scenic village of Jackson NH. From Don's initial welcome tour of this architectural jewel to our final breakfast, we had a totally positive experience. The facilities were excellent - a help-yourself afternoon tea with baked treats, free internet access, log fires in each room, generous well thought out breakfasts, relaxing public rooms and current favourite DVDs available to name a few! Nothing was left out. The views from the beautiful, newly decorated rooms are wonderful. I can't recommend the Inn too highly. Go on! Spoil yourself.

Nothing beats a friendly B & B!

Sometimes you know you made the right choice after one phone conversation with the innkeeper. This is how I felt after speaking with Don and discussing ideas for a surprise anniversary get away for my wife and I. The Inn at Jackson was a great choice for a romantic getaway. Set in beautiful (and quaint) Jackson, NH, driving through the covered bridge into town just cements the feeling that you've entered another world.

Our innkeepers were neither too pushy nor too detached as either extreme can sometimes be common at B&Bs. Staying at the inn during a slow weekend was a bonus in my opinion as we had the run of the house and felt as if our every desire was catered to.

I can reiterate the sentiment noted in other reviews, these innkeepers really go out of their way for their guests. The roses that were waiting for my wife in our room didn't even show up on our bill; it's little things such as this that make the difference.

Cheers to Don and Joyce, we'll definitely be seeing you again.

Just what you'd expect from an Inn

My wife and I stayed at the Inn at Jackson over the Memorial Day Weekend with our 2 1/2 year old son and we loved it. The Inn keepers even went out to by a high chair before we arrived just in case! The decor was beautiful, internet access for spur of the moment planning (it rained one day), and a great den for evening reading. Breakfast was served in ample portions and each day had a different breakfast special. Be sure to try Sue's granola! My wife and I have recommended the Inn many time since our visit there and plan to return the next time we vacation in the White Mountain Region.

Wonderful experience!

This was our fourth trip to the Inn at Jackson and it was by far our best. The new innkeepers are very friendly and really went out of their way to make our stay special.

The downstairs has been completely redone and is now very warm and inviting, a far departure from the dark floral patterns of before. Our cozy room had a fireplace and a wondeful view of Mount Washington. And the breakfast was FANTASTIC.

I will absolutely stay there again.
