Beautiful .... Value for money

Stayed at Indian Creek hotel from may15 to jun1 , Just amazing hotel.
Location: Just walk away from the best places of Miami, beautiful walkway near sea, bus stop next to hotel, and economy class restaurants near by.

Hotel: GREEN and Beautiful , just amazing hotel, art deco atmosphere, Nice swimming pool, lush green, clean, and Creek18 is actually good restaurant though a bit on higher side.

Service: Reasonably good service, front desk is people are fairly good, house cleaning time is late around 3-4pm they come for cleaning!!

whats not hot :
Breakfast is lousy, same breakfast everyday, boring!!
water: At least water should be delivered to the room

Overall:
Best experience, Value for money.
an additional feel good factor, close to nature!!!
good for romantic outing!!!
Will surely come back.

BEWARE-Bait & Switch. This hotel is run by crooks. Don't Stay Here!!! I made a reservation for the first weekend in February, 2007 for a family vacation with my in-laws (2 rooms). When the hotel figured out it was Super Bowl weekend, they lied to me (said the hotel was being closed and converted into condos) and cancelled my reservation. Now, they are offering rooms for the same weekend at 4x the price and won't reinstate my reservation! Save yourself the aggravation and don't stay at the Indian Creek Hotel. Warn your friends...they'll thank you for it.

Great service, cute hotel, great price!

The hotel was exactly as described. The Indian Creek Hotel was beautifully decorated in the art deco style, we loved it. The staff was SO friendly, loved our little boy, got us whatever we needed. The free breakfast (pastries and coffee) was nice. The room was clean and exactly what we needed, very cute, bright, but had nice curtains for shutting out the light (for the baby to sleep!)... the restaurant was great, really a treat, a little expensive. But the room was not expensive, got a great price on Yahoo, the hotel computer couldn't find our reservation (!!) but I had brought a copy of the receipt from Yahoo so they honored our price, very nice staff. Easy walk to the beach, one block. Not too far from South Beach. You have to pay to park here but we knew about it in advance and you can get a parking tag at the hotel.

This hotel has a spirit! And I mean

This hotel has a spirit! And I mean this in the entirely positive way of saying spirit. After a night in my room I was feeling like a new person. The beds are made of clouds and you can have only beautiful dreams in them. The hotels offers Wi-Fi Internet so you can check your email while having your morning coffee. The shopping area is not that close but the beach is just some 5-10 minutes from the hotel.

Try the Tuscan soup!

I liked it because the staff treated me informally and made me feel like I was staying at my own house. They also had variety of facilities and services such as VCRs, CD players and free Wi-fi in every room. All this for a reasonable price. And, if you’re staying there, try the Tuscan tomato soup!

It was Royal

I'm not very familiar with architectural styles. They told me that the hotel is built in the Art Deco style and maybe it is true.
\
However, the rooms were not too big, but made me feel like being in one of those old castles with secret rooms and whispers. I loved that feeling.

As for the bed, yes, I slept like a princess. Even the morning coffee was royal.

Best for your beach tour

The hotel is just 10 minutes from downtown Miami and is great point to start your Miami Beach tour.

The hardwood floors and the furniture are new and stylishly selected. The whole atmosphere has something specific probably because of the international staff speaking a few European languages.

Don't miss the Creek 28 restaurant!

Don't stay Here!

After reading an article in the Chicago Tribune about this hotel, I would never stay there. Two rooms were booked at $159. night, for four nights, and when the hotel found out that is Super Bowl Weekend, they canceled their reservations, and then told them they could stay there for $499. night. It's fine that they take advantage of the Super Bowl being played there, but they had already confirmed the reservation in April, 2006. Bad Business.

UN-delightful

First walking into the Hotel, the lobby was nice, cozy looking. The room was very small, the supposedly walk-in closet was bigger than the bathroom. You couldn't stand in the bathroom while the bathroom door was open. And there was barely any water pressure to even take a shower. The bedroom was very small for 2 people and there were not seperate "no smoking" rooms as we were led to believe. Some other guest in a nearby room smoked ALL night long. I guess you get what you pay for!!...DEFINETY 1/2 STAR!!

Creek 28 is a lovely new addition to

Creek 28 is a lovely new addition to the Miami Beach scene
We dined at Creek 28 last night, and had a lovely dinner, in the garden. It is owned & run by Chef Kira Volz, from the Abbey Hotel.
The atmosphere is absolutely lovely (in the garden) albeit a bit humid & hot, last night. We suggested installing fans, since the indoor dining is rather limited. But it is very European and the food, or, at least what we ate was wonderful.
We began with goat cheese in philo dough with caramalized onions & fruit compote.
And for our entrees tried the Sea Bass which was served on a bed of roast Romaine & topped with chopped mushrooms (couldn't figure out what she combined with the mushrooms). The fish was done perfectly... and the flavor combos were lovely.

PROS: ambience food
CONS: location
