My room was never comfortable, either too hot or too cold. The carpet thru out the hotel is dirty and has awful stains. The staff is not very friendly. There is no room service ( cancelled that week?) Their buffet in their building is terrible and good luck if the credit card machine is ever working. When I arrived the pool was shut down because someone used the restroom in it. My key to my rrom broke twice and to top it off the air conditioner went out for hours during my stay. I was not even given any sort of comp as a result of sitting in the heat with no air or power. It is an old property and definitely not well maintained. The staff is rude and non responsive. They do not have an acceptable restaurant nor, does the excuse for breakfast. When the power went out, the A/C and Elevators were out on 4 story hotel. It was apparent that the hotel had no plan for emergency's. They offered no allowances for this major inconvenience. The General Manager was rude and this attitude filtered to his staff. When a desk clerk was asked about getting a tub of ice with some drinks, we were told in no uncertain terms, "Our General Manager does not permit that." Then we noted two desk clerks helping themselves in the kitchen to cold drinks and taking them back to their office. There was something that passed for a buffet breakfast, however when we asked for orange or apple joice, milk, or coffee, we were told several times, "we don't have any. The rooms were dirty and uncomfortable. The TV system, such as it was, played paid advertising channels, few real channels, and the TV's were old and not well maintained. I spent 22 years as a hospitality professional, and I can tell you that this is a hotel that should be closed, torn down and rebuilt.
