We arrived back to our hotel after coming from the fair. I wanted to warm up our food we had no microwave in the room so I went up to front desk which was not a short walk. The front desk reply was there was no access to a microwave till the morning. Also shortly after arriving we ran into an elderly couple who had checked in when we were checking in. The room was fine. Nothing fancy. The hallways were really long. I literally think we had to walk 1/4 mile through hallways to get to our room from the front desk. The next day I discovered that there was a parking lot near our room, but the entrance over there wouldn't have been accessible after hours anyway. It looked like the hotel offered a complimentary computer in the lobby for internet access. The hotel is located less than half a mile from the downtown area of Anchorage. The hotel is a very short walk to the train station. When I arrived the lady that checked me in....I went to my room and the key didn't work...I went all the way back the mile long hall way just to let her know my key wasn't working, she slid then through the key thing, I went all the way back the mile long hallway, was about to go in the room and was wondering why there were shoes and a coat in the room. I freaked out when somebody asked who I was. I told the people I was sorry. They had put me in someone else's room.
