I found this hotel halfway between

I found this hotel halfway between Indianapolis and Cleveland while I was traveling for a business meeting. The room was comfortable and quite. I liked it because it was a quick in & out off the turnpike. The price was reasonable also.

The front desk area looked nice, but

The front desk area looked nice, but that was it. Door in back of building, next to highway didn't lock or even shut. Screens were torn. Rooms and hallways were dirty. We were there 30 minutes and saw roach crawl from under bed, after which, we checked out imediately. When we told the front desk, they didn't seem surprised and gave no appology. This is not what I would expect from a Howard Johnson hotel. I suggest that there be some serious renovations done to this place, as well as adding some customer service minded employees.

Warning- the pictures are very

Warning- the pictures are very deceiving (especially pool). Hotel is VERY hard to find- in the middle of nowhere. Location reminded me of "Texas Chainsaw Massacre." Only thing around is truck stops (gas, parts, parking lots for semis). Even for so cheap, hotel was sub-standard. No fitted sheet on bed (just a flat one!), dirty, dark, & less channels than they say. & they advertise for pizza places that won't deliver "all the way out there." Had to get back on highway and drive miles away to find food. If not looking for dingy, dirty hotel that caters to truckers, stay elsewhere!

Sink do not work

We stayed one night at this hotel on our way to Niagara Falls from Chicago. The service was pretty bad.The lady at the Front desk was more busy attending phone calls rather than attending the people standing in the line. After almost 15 minutes of waiting we go a room in which the sink did not work, water not draining out properly.I called he Front desk to report this but, they did not show any interest to fix it or change the room. All I wanted to do was then get some sleep and get out early in the morning....I would not recommend this hotel to anyone..........SORRY

rude staff

we travel alot and have been in alot of hotels but never one where the staff treat you so rudely and if you like hard beds than you will love this place not a soft bed in the place and dont ask for a soft bed or you will be talked about behind your back and they will say you should sleep standing up. the shower is another story one minute you are getting cold water the next you are getting scolded and while you are getting scolded you look up and see gross looking stuff on the ceiling oh and dont sit in the chairs cause you feel the boards on your legs and back and those are just a few things do yourself a favor and keep going down the road dont stop here

That particular one wasn't as clean as the others, and maybe because it was near a truck stop, however it needs major reconstruction.
