The only thing(s) that went wrong is the housekeeping left an empty water bottle in our room after they finished and we got charged for drinks from the refrigerator, just because we were looking through it. We had a room with a king bed. I loved the colors and the style it was decorated in. Very 1920's art deco-ish style. It was decorated in rich reds, golds and greens. It also had a very nice red easy chair. The mini bar is fully stocked with wonderful snacks and drinks. But the bathroom is by far the best! The claw foot, jacuzzi tub is nice and roomy, and equipped with a spray attachment. The best part is that it sits right next to the shutters that look into the main room. So you can smoke a cigar and watch TV while you relax in the tub! Right behind the tub is a clear glass shower...use your imagination in this bathroom, lovebirds!! The bathroom is stocked with Molton Brown bath products that smell delicious, and, of course, the usual items you find in a hotel bathroom. They also have a turn-down service with the chocolates and rose petals on the comforter. And we didn't get the romantic package...this, I think, is standard! The bar at the Bank restaurant is wonderful, but we didn't try the restaurant itself. My only complaints are that you do have to valet park, and the front desk people are a bit slow and not as friendly or classy as they should be in a hotel like this. Despite that, I can't WAIT to stay there again. First, the hotel is very very dark everywhere... from the rooms to the lobby. Attention to detail in decor was very good. Too bad you can hardly see it. The food and wine is very good but very expensive. An appetizer and glass of wine after my meeting ran $30. The hotel has a car available to take you around the city center but my driver got lost one of the two days I spent there.
