The location is one block from the beach & pier,bike rentals, one block from the Promonade with lots of shopping, resturants, & street entertainers. Parking across the street. Big screen TV and another big screen for nightly DVDs. Great laundry, library, lounge, kitchen, & outdoor patio with fountain. The rooms & bathrooms are clean and secure. I met friendly people there. Staff was very helpful. There is an elevator, lots of pay phones & internet access as well as video games. There is no airconditioning which could be a problem in the hot summers. It is a great buy in a great location. There is no air-conditioning, but in California it actually gets cold at night, even if the day was warm, so you don't even need it.
