Very close to Lackland AFB. Reasonable price and though one outer door lock was broken I still felt very safe. Feedback was the reason I chose this hotel and was not dissapointed. I've stayed at Holiday Inn Express' that were much better. It's west of town so if you're looking for accommodations out that way you don't have to many other options. The folks at the desk were nice and responsive. The bathroom was tiny so if you're traveling with the little lady she may not like that much at all. The bar and restaurant has only limited hours of operation but the hot tub and swimming pool, which are both outside seem to have some ocassional action. This isn't a strong recommendation, it just got me by. I did find a dead roach smashed up in the 2nd queen bed (which we didn't use) but I assume that was a little oversite on the maid's part. I didn't tell the little lady or she would have made us leave. I was going to leave that out but....why should I? The staff was friendly.The location was farther away from where we wanted to be and didn't feel safe.
