Great Stay

This hotel is conveniently located near Rt 95, west of downtown. There is a Denny's next door. Our room was very nice, as we were only there for an overnight stay. Everything was adequate. The front desk employees were polite and helpful. The room was clean and had good furnishings. There is a complimentary continental breakfast. A small workout room is also available, too. I would stay here again.

My stay at the Holiday Inn Express was wonderful. The guest service was above and beyond the normal. They were very courteous and helpful, very eager to assist me in any way possible. I am very picky when it comes to the cleanliness of a room and theirs are exceptional. Not a thing out of place or a spot anywhere. There business center was very helpful when my laptop would not work. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, a very large selection. Everything was hot and ready. I would advise anyone that is coming to the area to stay at the hotel. When I come back for my next meeting I will be staying there.

Rebutal to Review

I work at the Holiday Inn Express, and just wanted to reply to a comment from a user about a security issue.
Our owner does stay on property from time to time and walk around to make sure everything is up to date or there is no problems on site. He also is here to help with the training process of new hires.

My name is Katrina and am a Guest Service Rep. I can be contacted at katrina@hiexpress-melbourne.com

Best in area,even for price

Only thing I didn't like was the Manager, maybe owner was always lurking about. This gives the impression that the hotel needs security. He was also not letting the girls at the desk do their work by bugging them while people were at the counter (talk about his lack of customer service). The staff themselves were great especially Katrina and Gwen, though Nomei needed to learn a bit about team work, heard her down talking Katrina in front of others.
The rooms were great!!! Pool looked inviting though it was storming we could not take advantage of it.
Breakfast was wonderful, hot items, fully stocked, clean. The lady who was running the breakfast was wonderful, a real Gem, she went out of her way to make sure it was clean, stocked, and EVERYBODY had what they needed, if they didn't have it she found it.

Bedding and linens were a dream for hotel towels (very big). There is your choice of soft or firm pillows in the rooms. FREE bottles of water in the rooms. This hotel does not nickel and dime everything... that was so wonderful.

Again, Katrina was the best I have seen in a long time. I actually thought she was the Manager, she was on top of things, made sure she followed up on what you ask for. Very helpful girl.....she is a diamond in the rough. I hope the Company sees this in her.

The only real complaint other than a few of the workers/management would be the wireless internet connection is not reliable. Other than that this is the best place to stay, even for the $100 plus they charge... heck with all the freebies you get out of them it more than makes up for the price though.
