The rooms were updated and are in good shape. Very clean. Had a nice breakfast bar in the morning. The hotel had a pool and there happened to be A LOT of kids there that weekend. It was kind of loud when the kids ran through the hall and the elevator was always wet from dripping kids coming from the pool--but they looked like they were having a blast so it was hard to be too critical! The TV was small and older, but we left early in the morning so it wasn't a big deal. The bathroom was nice and big, though, with a nice shower and the curved shower curtain that gives you a lot of elbow-room, which was appreciated by my husband who is very tall. The weekend we stay there, there was three different activities going on in the area so there was a lot of kids. Breakfast was well stocked and good selection. I would recommend this hotel to others staying in the columbus area. Our girls had a good time in the pool. This was by far the best. Big rooms, new/super comfortable beds, fluffy towels, cystral clean ... everything. And while the hotel is right off the expressway it is set back enough that it was quiet. Fantastic free breakfast; 2 kinds of eggs, sausage, huge cinnamon rolls, cereal, several fresh fruits, 3 juices, milk and more, plus they had a person to refill items if they ran out. Just a few blocks drive to OSU. Plus the manager and staff were very busy checking to assure everything was OK.
