When going to our room, I knew it was going to be bad; there is no way this was a 3 star hotel, the first area we were put in looked more like pay by the hour. It was very unattractive outside, and looked very unsafe, with a lot of people that seemed to be just hanging around. the curtains were very dirty, the room had an awful smell, and the bathroom ceiling looked like it was going to fall in soon. There was no way I would sleep in that room. I called the front desk and they put us in an "upgraded" room in another building, which had an indoor entry area, which was a lot safer, and a little nicer. Still not a 3 star. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant had a great breakfast buffet with great help.
