The front desk staff were very understanding and accomodating, and on top of that, once we had checked in and then gone to see family, they put a bottle of champagne, a dish of desserts and chocolate-covered strawberries, and a thank-you note for his military service in our room to welcome him home! Comfy pillows, but we found the mattress to be hard. The room was good sized with a sitting area and coffee table. We did not eat there, but there are places to eat near the hotel on Louden Road. The front desk was great at helping us find a place for dinner the second night. The first night we ate at the Kansas City Steakhouse they have there and the food was so-so. Its a great location because you can walk to everything in the downtown area. There were food trays across from the elevator from room service that took all morning to get cleaned but thats my only complaint. The room was nice and very comfy bed.
