The hotel is very clean. I was surprised when I walked in the door. I thought I was at the wrong hotel. This hotel is nicer than the Omni and Hilton in which I usally stay. Best location in relation in uptown. The food is amazing and well priced and the hotel lobby looks like something out of a New York magazine... not like any Holiday Inn I ever stayed in growing up. If the rooms are as half as nice as the first floor... then they have the complete package. The staff was always around asking if I needed assistance and helped me out with several great recommendations for dinner. The restaurant is also excellent on property. I had dinner one night there and lunch several times. They have a great buffet with something different each day. Any needs I had during my stay were quickly taken care of by someone, sometimes in management. There seemed to be several managers there that were always in the lobby talking to guests as they passed through. It's easy to get to, there are plenty of bars and restaurants, museums, library, gallery, parks, etc. within walking distance. It's a great location for either business, family fun or singles that want to mingle. The hotel staff are all very friendly and always ready to help. The hotel has a great rooftop pool, a wonderful restaurant and bar. My only constructive criticism is that they need to upgrade their rooms, especially their bathrooms. They look dated. but otherwise, the rooms are very comfortable and clean. I did notice some floors were closed for renovation. Went to a wedding reception there and witnessed staff members prevent a handicapped lady from being seated. I was also double billed for my room and the manager was rude and unresponsive to my phone calls. Wake up call was thirty minutes late.
