The staff were very professional and competent; the room was clean, safe and fully functional; and the location of the hotel couldn't be beat (central to nearly everything). From the hotel staff, cleanliness of the rooms, to the location. I just find it very difficult to pay $279.00 for a Holiday Inn! For $60.00 more a night we could have stayed at the Omni in central downtown Boston. It was our first trip to Boston so we were not fully educated on the area. If and when we go back we will stay at the Omni. It really irked me to pay $15.00 a night for parking when we were paying $279.00 for the rooms. AND $279.00 is the lower price for these rooms, they go as high as the upper $500.00's.. It isn't luxury by any means, some of the furniture is showing some wear and tear and our bathroom door could not open fully as would catch on the toilet (really tight fit). I don't think I've ever stayed at a Holiday Inn this nice. The rooms were great and they had a business room with two computers for guest (so I could do my online flight check in), gym, laundry room. Taxis were waiting outside for quick access and they held out bags for most of the day after checkout because our flight was at night.
