The main lobby area is very nice but the room was poorly maintained and was in a very dingy part of the hotel.It seemed like the basement, but wasn't. I've stayed in literally hundreds of hotels but found the layout of this hotel to be very poor. To add insult to injury, the ice machine on my floor did not work so I had to make my way through the labyrinth to another machine. The hotel is centrally located and has a shopping center within walking distance. (NIST is a very short drive and they have a courtesy shuttle to the metro.) The room, however, was a little dark and humid. The AC helped, but it definitely was not a great room. It also didn't have a microwave or a fridge.
