Close to airport; friendly & helpful staff.Rooms looked old; furniture was old.“Staff was very friendly & helpful and fulfilled our requests were possible. We were able to print out our boarding passes in lobby. Rooms were not as new as we expected them to be, but the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was good compared to other hotels offering continental breakfasts. Provided shuttle service to & from airport.”

Great rooms and convenient for business

The front desk welcomed me and made sure I was oriented to the free breakfast and cocktail hour(s). I was very pleasantly surprised to find a nice sized living/kitchen area and a very comfortable bed with upgraded bedding. The bathroom was large as well. I had only a couple of issues. One was that, although the tub itself was very clean, the cleaning people had not seen and removed the used bar of soap and the shampoo bottle in the upper shelf. The other was a beautifully set table for 4, which I had to clear away as that is also the desk.

I would definitely return. There is none of the frenetic atmosphere of International Drive.

was all i expected!!! This was the best hotel I have stayed in, in a long time. The rooms where very beautiful looking, plenty of room inside the rooms, happy hour was the best thing since air conditioning, breakfast was great, what else is there to say? There were some downfalls, but some of those were corrected. The beds when we arrived were hard as a rock, by the third day there, new mattress covers were put, the sheets replaced, and comforter was replaced with a new fluffy bed. The breakfast was great, but one of the ladies working there had an attitude problem, but that can be resolved easily. The bar from 5:30 till 7:30 would be better especially if the time was extended. The bartender was friendly and talkative. If I had the choice, I'd stay there again on my next trip to Orlando. Just a warning though, the room had a weird musty smell to it, buy a candle or complain if you that problem.

I recently stayed at this hotel on a

I recently stayed at this hotel on a business trip in June of 2007 and found it generally adequate. The hotel seemed more like an Extended Stay property than what you expect from a Suites hotel.

Location
Is very close to the airport (free shuttle) and surrounded by neighboring hotel chains. There is a Hooters right behind the hotel and the Marriott down the street has a nice restaurant. I&#146m sure you could walk to other restaurants in the area, but would be kind of far in the heat. There is a nice lake with a fountain in front of the property, would have been nice to have been facing that.

Check In
Front desk was extremely helpful and courteous during my stay. All my request were honored and it was a quick and easy procedure.

Room
I didn&#146t love the quality of the room. I really felt like I was at an extended stay as opposed to what you think of the suite. The living area had a table with four place settings and the kitchen had hot plates, refrigerator, microwave and sink. There was a TV and a VCR in the living room as well. The carpet just seemed kind of shabby and was torn in one place. There is large bathroom/vanity area that connects from either the living room or the bedroom, which would be nice if you were traveling with more than one person. Could have been cleaner. You pretty much get zero toiletries, so be sure to bring some with you. Felt the water pressure was okay, but the nozzles and things in the bathroom could be newer. Would recommend them taking a look at rehabing the bathroom area.

The beds were older and had the usual fire-retardant comforter. I found them to be a bit soft, however I know the hotel is getting new beds/linens over the summer. My alarm clock was broken, which was irritating, but it was too late to do anything about it. Iron and ironing board worked fine throughout the stay. Sound quality in the room wasn&#146t great, wonder if it wooden construction, as I did hear things from the other room.

Amenities
There is a computer and printer in the lobby, but someone was always using it. They had coffee service, but you had to pay for it. There was a dinner one night, which was fried rice, salad and rolls. Not sure why they would even bother, I think the guests would just prefer chips and salsa or other snacks. There is free beverage service in the evenings and I know people were enjoying the free alcohol. The breakfast in the morning wasn&#146t anything special. They do have some hot items (eggs, meat, etc.), but wish there would have been more healthy selections, was mostly pastry and bagels. I believe the hotel also has a fitness center and pool. They do have a fantastic shop where you can buy toiletries, snacks and meals. Great selection if you happen to forget anything.

Overall
The hotel caters to a lot of airport travelers, including pilots and flight attendants. Because the layout is more like an Extended Stay, to me this isn&#146t what I think of when I think of a Suites hotel and just didn&#146t feel like it was the usual standard (Hampton is my standard chain). If you are just looking to stay one night close to the airport and have a larger party with you, I guess it would be fine, but next time I&#146m going to check out one of the Hilton or Marriott properties in the area.

We were greeted by a friendly staff in a beautiful lobby. Great location - right near the airport. Our room was spacious, clean and private and very welcoming with the lights on a the table set for dinner - nice touch. The Happy Hour barmaid was friendly and sweet and handled a large crowd very quickly for all those FREE drinks. Slept very well and didn't hear an airplane once even though we were so close to the airport. We had an early flight and had a sweet lady cook us a wonderful, HOT breakfast Western omelet made to order along with many other delicious HOT breakfast items. Between the FREE HOT breakfast and FREE happy hour, that saves you a bunch of money and time right there. Had a nice pool, but didn't get to use it unfortunately. Our airport shuttle driver was also very nice and waiting to take us on time to the airport. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

This hotel failed to ensure that I recieved a wake up call at 4: 45 am in order to catch my flight at 6 30 am. It was of vital importance that I was to catch the 6;30 am flight as I had an extremely important meeting at 4:00 pm. I informed the front desk staff the night b4 that I was exhausted and was concerned that I may sleep through the call.( I was contemplating actually sleeping at all because of the fear of missing the call. )

After much reasurance from the front desk agent that she would send someone to knock on my room door if I didnt wake up, I decided to get some rest. The next morning I woke up on my own at 5;50 am. I threw my belongings together in a mad rush and bolted for the airport. I ended up missing my flight and had to wait for standby for the next flight at 11;30.
