This was one of the nicer Hampton Inn's that I have stayed in. The staff was GREAT. I had a problem with a reservation when I was trying to check in on April 11th (Friday afternoon)but the young man that waited on me was great and I was off to my room in a short time. I was staying there for the A-DAY Spring game at the University of Alabama as were many other guest and the staff seemed to handle the crowd nicely. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and looked better than what I was expecting. You could hear some hall noise, but it wasn't bad. The housekeepers were very nice and did a good job with my room. Breakfast was good. Everything was set up downstairs and there was a good selection of different types of food(cereal, muffins, fruit, hot cereal, juice, yogurt, etc.).If you are hungry, there is a Wings Restaraunt next door. This was great for me because I didn't have to drive all over Tuscaloosa looking for a place to grab something to eat.GOOD TIME AND GREAT STAY! I will be back at this hotel for A-day next year! Proximity to campus is very close.

My family stayed for 2 days at the Tuscaloosa Hampton Inn during a 2 week family vacation. It was by far the best hotel we stayed in and I have to say a huge plus was the super friendly staff. They go way out of their way to make you feel welcome.

The hotel web site provided a good map and directions. The hotel is still a bit difficult to enter particularly from the north direction. The hotel was clean, reasonable, and convenient for us to attend a wedding in downtown Tuscaloosa.

It’s located close to main roads and a number of restaurants. They have a very friendly staff and a nice laundry facility for do it your-selfers. I love the food!

This was not our first choice as the other was full. The rooms were clean and new. Staff were nice and courteous. Breakfast was poor as the man taking care of it didn't care if there was eggs and things in place at 8 am. One of us liked the bed and the other thought is was hard but those are hotel beds for you! I would stay here again however.
