The room I stayed in was excellent. I am picky about clean hotels, and this one passed with flying colors. I had a wonderful view of the river and the boats that passed by. Total relaxation. The front desk was very helpful. I definitely will be going back, and soon. The price was great also. I love staying in Fernandina Beach. The shops are all within walking distance and so were several restaurants. It is walking distance to the downtown shops, restaurants, and of course the quiet beaches. Directly across the street are the shrimping boats,and let me just say that you should definitely order shrimp at whichever dining establishment you choose to visit. The hotel smells wonderful, is beautifully decorated and very clean. There is a nice workout room, an outdoor pool (usually cold), and a nice, comfortable room with largescreen tv for the free continental breakfast. And the price is right.
