It looks almost brand new and the service was great. We were coming in to town to visit family and wanted to try a different hotel this time. I come into Dubuque every now and then for work and everytime I stay at the Hampton Inn. It's right across from the mall, Target, Best Buy and Hy-Vee. If I wanna go down town it's only a 5 min. drive. Rooms are very clean and the staff is great. Our rooms were not cleaned and when asked to do so they stated if they had a chance. Later I called for service and they told me to go in the hall and find a cleaning lady to tell her. I came back and my room was not cleaned. I called at 12:30 AM to get towels. THe manager at this hotel needs to attend a Dale Carnigiee class to work on the way he treats his customers. I hope all of you tell individuals not to stay at this hotel.
