I was treated excellent. The room was very clean and the staff were polite. My room had a stopped up toilet when I first arrived. I told the staff at the desk and it was fixed and cleaned in no time. The bed was super and I am going back later this year with my family to see the sights. This hotel is very clean, and the beds were really good...BUT..The staff was not very friendly. The breakfast wasn't good at all. As a matter of fact, the 1st morning we were there, it was about 9 am when we went in the breakfast room. They were out of gravy, bisquits, egss. When we asked if they were going to put some more out, they said no, bause they will shut the breakfast bar down in about an hour, and they were not going to put anymore back out! OK..why didn't they say the bar closed at 9 am instead of 10 then? There were about 30 people in there wanting some food. Then the next morning they were out of the same thing..PLUS out of coffee! The staff was not friendly. The pool was closed the day we were leaving so we weren't able to do in the pool. It wasn't a very good stay. I travel a good bit, I am out of town about 10-15 days a month, and this hotel is not worth the money we paid to stay there. There is a sleezy motel right behind this hotel and when you go to the pool area all you can see is that place, and I didn't feel safe there at all. The front desk clerk went out of his way to make us welcome. He recommended a restaurant to us and even gave us a coupon for a free appetizer. Parking can be a bit of a hassle if you check in late. Otherwise, I had a great experience. Typical continental breakfast so try not to get too hungry.
