The renovations that have been completed at the hotel are wonderful. Unfortunately, the first floor was a disaster area as well as the parking area due to the remodeling. The staff was very helpful and our room was spotless. I stayed there for six days which were supposed to be a romantic vacation but turned out to be a nightmare. The hotel was under renovation. The construction noise from above floors was overwhelming that we could not even watch TV, let alone hold a conversation without screaming on top of our voices. The room was dump and very humid. Housekeeping was anything but satisfactory, we could leave for hours and come back to an unclean room, bath towels were too old, bath tub was cracked and unstable, corked all over to cover damages and cracks. To crown it all, there was this constant terrible raw sewage-like stench all over. We had to switch off the room AC, in the middle of summer, to avoid the smell. Breakfast was excellent though! This hotel is under construction. I got lost because the street sign was very small and the street looked like an alley. Very poor lighting. The room was so small, that I had to go sideways to get around the bed.
