watch your kids cause the lifeguards can't

they do have daily passes,so my family and i spent the day there, it wasn't to bad except for the lifeguards weren't watching their water, and my kid got hurt and the guard just ignored me, i had to leave the waterpark soaken wet to find a band-aid,because the guards wouldn't help me. I also couldn't find a supervisor to talk to them, so i made a lifeguard radio to the supervisor it took them 2 hours to come in, great management let me tell you

It is a comfortable place, with a nice atmosphere and an interesting architecture. I could see out over the Mississippi River. It was not far from the ski resort and there was a great water park at the hotel.

Would not recommend

We were very disappointed. Our room was very dirty - not vacuumed floor, no ventilation, everything was dirty. The waterpark was smaller than expected (would recommend for ages 2-8). There were only two main small elevators. The service seemed rude. Just awful, we couldn't wait to leave.

We reserved a room for a winter get

We reserved a room for a winter get away kids 4 kids. The weekend we were to go there was a snow storm. that was within 72 hrs of check-in and they tried to charge the full amount instead of changing the date--and they still charged us the increased rate. During the stay, we were at the pool 15 minutes before seeing a young child (5?) lying on the side of the pool, blue, not moving, not breathing. Nobody helping. Disgusting. Not to mention bad food, rude people, not enough luggage carts. I will never go back.

The check-in is screwed up. Come in on 1st floor(no doorman, manual doors, no carts) check-in on 2nd floor. Extremely long wait times at elevator. Restaurant service is slow. Long wait in waterpark for food. Locker rooms very dirty. Fitness center equipment was broken.

Horribly rude reservationists. Charged us more on the computer than by phone--and all the prices were inflated! If we are treated this horribly before we even step into the facility, what will happen once we are there?
