Our room faced the bay side, but the view was blocked by an apartment complex. Our patio was facing a side street so you felt as if you were on display. I do have to say the staff is quite attentive and sent someone immediately when we had a problem with the TV/DVD. We were more than pleased with the wonderful FREE breakfast that we weren't even expecting. It is directly across the street from the Hotel Del, and we even saw fireworks one night! The pool is a bit small but there weren't many people there given the beach right across the road. By the pool are fresh towels and a cool refreshing water cooler. If you can afford it...stay here! We walked right up to the Glorietta and the hotel manager gave us an absolutely gorgeous double queen room with kitchenette for an unbelievable price. We were thrilled because it was perfect for the 4 of us. The room was immaculate. We would say this is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed and would recommend it to everyone. I stayed in one of the mansion rooms with my 5 year old son. We LOVED it. He loved having chololates,cookies and milk at bedtime and the breakfasts were good. The beach is across the street.
