The only thing good about this hotel is definitely the location, next to the Olviedo mall e the whole Poblado area. Staff was rude, the breakfast was bad and the room smelled and it was humid. After 3 days, we finally could find vacancy in the other hotel across the street. The staff was helpful, and very friendly. The rooms are comfortable, clean, with air conditioned rooms and great beds. The location is in a very nice area Oviedo Mall is adjacent with plenty of ATM machines, restaurants, movie theatre, etc. Taxi cabs are always available outside the hotel so that is never an issue. The breakfast is excellent, fresh fruits, cheeses, cereal, eggs, coffee, toast, fresh fruit juices usually 3 different flavors. Only thing that isn't good is the pool, not big at all and poorly situated. The hotel on the other hand, is not so good. The decor is dark and not attracative, the breakfast is not good and the service resembles one of a small inn of a town. The staff in general are not very attentive or friendly considering that people in Colombia, specially in Medelin are really very nice. The rooms are just enough clean and comfortable, but nothing special. Bathroom is good, the shower, very good. The staff needs more training in dealing with tourists. After 4 days of staying there, we changed hotel.
