The room we stayed in was clean. There was no television and no porter service and the room was up a flight of steep stairs. The woman who greeted us at check-in was thorough but not friendly. We ate at the restaurant for dinner. The venison was excellent but the duck was awful - dry and no taste. The wild mushrooms were full of grit and inedible. The wine list was so-so. Breakfast, however, was very nice and the service was very friendly.
