The staff was friendly. We have two toddlers and they loved the pool. However the floor around the pool was VERY slippery and both children slipped and fell down. It was very late and the kids were blowing off a little energy from being in the car all day. I expect it's not so bad during the day. The continental breakfast was very good with a lot of choices. Could even make your own waffle. Only problem was with the shower/tub that had the usual stains and peeling grout.
