We were traveling with 4 children. When we reported the theft, no one even bothered to check our room. Our children woke up crying and scared that someone was trying to get into the room. I notified the manager and the corporate office. I received a phone call back almost 1 month later. Horrible customer service and horrible management who does not know how to handle a bad situation. As the manager told me, "You get what you pay for here." I will never stay at this hotel or any other Marriott owned hotel again. I agree with one of the other reviews that the hotel staff is excellent and made all the difference in our stay. The entire staff was attentive to details, courteous, welcoming and friendly. The front desk staff was welcoming and very knowledgeable and was able to accomodate our previously booked early check-in request. The rooms were incredibly quiet, very clean and comfortable, and housekeeping was fantastically thourough and friendly. The breakfast was very good as was the service of the breakfast staff. The hotel staff thought of every detail to ensure we had a great stay. Great location. The staff was exceptionally nice. However, it was far closer to a bare bones economy hotel (size and amenities) except for a nicer looking decor. I had not previously stayed at one of these hotels.
