The hotel is a little closer to the Interstate than I like, but staff were very good at meeting my request to be located away from the highway. Highway access is nice if you want to get an early start somewhere though. Peak of tourist season and the pool is closed for multiple days. No attempt to compensate for negative. I stayed with my wife at this hotel in June and had a wonderful time. Everything was clean and functioning. this stay was like a totally different place. when I expressed my concern to the staff they shrugged their shoulders and acted as though there was nothing that could be done. I asked for a feedback card and they did not have one. When I asked to speak to the manager there was none available. While this hotel is conveniently located near the freeway and the St George Convention Center it was a terrible representative of the Marriott organization. We had to stay 3 nights. During all 4 days, there was a terrible odor in the main hallway on the 3rd floor (smelled like cat spray). Not only that, we came back to the hotel late one evening to discover that our room had NOT been cleaned at all that day.
