Security, location, staff. No restaurant, bar! Very small breakfast area.“The hotel was great for my intention. I felt very safe due to a safety guard being there all night as well as a receptionist. The staff was overall very friendly. The Fairfield Inn is conveniently located so that I was able to reach all my appointments in a very short amount of time.”

The location was good, the bed was comfortable. Desk clerk was not particularly helpful. Upon check-in, found our king bed room was on the ground floor, where we could hear the street traffic quite clearly. Asked for an upper floor and had to pay extra - all the remaining rooms were double queen which was a higher rate. Since we were staying at a time when the hotel was not at full occupancy AND I am a Marriott Rewards member, I think that for good customer service they could have moved us without charge (it was nominal, so not a big deal for them, but would have been godo on principle). Housekeeping staff is indeed noisy and not always paying attention to a "Do Not Disturb" sign before they knock, and heed the warnings about the walls - they are THIN and you can hear everything in the hallway and adjacent rooms.

The continental breakfast was huge.My room was right on street level and a bus stop in front of window.“As a smoker I was uncomfortable with the fact that the hotel was 100 % non smoking, I was dissatisfied with my room location , and after my stay I checked my bank card statement and noticed that the hotel had charged my card an additional 81. Dollars which was later credited, but at the same time had overdrawn my account.”

Arrowhead stadium was right across the street. Very helpful staff and recently remodeled rooms that looks great. We were on the top floor and my laptop wasn't able to pick up the wireless internet very well at all. Didn't connect at all or dropped me quickly.“We had a great weekend stay. We flew to Kansas City, MO for the Kansas City chiefs game and wanted to be close to arrowhead stadium so that we wouldn't have to drive. Mission accomplished! The stadium was right across the street (along with their professional baseball stadium KC royals I believe). I had read reviews before we stayed there, and I was kind of worried that the rooms would be crappy. But the staff said they had all been remodeled and ours was attractive and clean. The front desk staff helped us out so much, telling us the best clubs to go to, and even helping us get to the nearby casino and back when the cabs were busy (don't know if they will do that for anyone else, but I mentioned this to demonstrate how far above and beyond they go to help out their guests). I would say don't bring your kids here on football game weekends though, most of the guests were drunk and at one point, a few of them dumped their coolers on the floor in front of the front door of the hotel and did a slip n' slide improvisation. Very weird, but funny (not fun for the staff though because they had to clean it up). They had a sports-bar like restaurant downstairs, but we didn't try it out because there were drunken Vikings fans in there.”

Would definitely stay there again. The pool was clean and stocked with plenty of towels. It was close to everything downtown. Recommended!”
