We have found the front desk helpful and friendly, and they went out of their way to help when I had to have an emergency package delivered at the hotel, and another time when I forgot my pillow. The patio rooms open up to the pool area, and are clean, the beds are nice. In 5 years we have had 1 problem (a sticky front door), and they quickly changed our room to another. The third time, we were told that we weren't going to get any extra bedding because we had used a gift certificate towards the room. We couldn't believe they used this as an excuse to give us poor service. Just because we used a gift certificate doesn't mean they didn't make money on our stay. Our room was paid for and we paid $100 to upgrade to a suite. I have never encountered such unprofessional or rude hotel staff anywhere.
