It was close to the convention and the staff was friendly.Breakfast ended too early, charged for parking and Internet, porters refused to let us load and move our belongings ourselves.“I stayed at the Embassy Suites for Gencon. It was close to the con, but the skywalks to the Convention Center were not direct, they went through several other buildings and it was faster to go outside. They charged us $10 a night for internet access and $20 a night for parking. I expect to have these things included. The free breakfast was useless to us as it ended at 9:30 am sharp, far too early for those of us from different time zones. The staff insisting that we can't move our belongings ourselves but that they must do so through a service elevator makes me nervous when we have 3 laptops and other expensive electronic devices packed. While the Embassy Suites looks like a swank hotel, the extra charges and silly, non-accommodating policies tainted my experience.”

We had a guaranteed prepaid reservation for the weekend of biggest football game of the year. Front desk tried to tell us we didn't have a guarantee and that the hotel was completely out of rooms. We had our printed confirmation - NO APOLOGY AT ALL.

The convenient downtown location and the comfort of the room.Hard to find, not marked well outside. Difficult in downtown traffic.“The staff and accommodations were top notch. Breakfast was great. Walking out to the street and knowing you were close to so much to do was a real plus. Trying to find the parking garage entrance in downtown traffic was a bit trying. Overall a great stay.”

The amount of living space compared to price paid was incredible. The check-in parking and access to parking structure was pain.“Overall, the stay was great at the hotel. More features than a standard non-suite hotel, but in the same price range. Enjoyed having a sink in the sitting area, the bedroom, and in the bathroom. Made it easy for multiple guests to be performing grooming tasks without getting into each others way. And how can I forget to mention the free real breakfast in the morning, complete with omelet bar.”

Free breakfast buffet, pool/hot tubs, fitness facility.Slow elevators, noise carries from outside room.“Free breakfast buffet (including omelet bar, fresh waffles made by self), nightly manager's snack/drink, and indoor pool and 2 hot tubs. The hotel itself can be a bit noisy with the entire center of the hotel open. Noise from the lower level restaurants/lobby travel straight up to the upper floors. This was most noticeable in the front room of the suite where our kids happened to be sleeping, but in the rear room, it wasn't as much of a problem. Parking was convenient (self park was $20/night) in the adjacent garage. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay.”
