The service is friendly and personable. The rooms were cosy and well decorated. I liked that each room was named after a historical landmark/place in the San Diego area. I loved the breakfast. She feels the same way I do - it's home away from home. We extended our stay for one more day, a request from my little girl who looks forward to breakfast everyday with her now, favorite person, Pie. Our stay was so amazing - from the room, the unique service, the cleanliness, the food, and most of all, the feeling of being safe where we stay at. I took a friend for her birthday and chose the two bed suite. It was cozy, beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was just perfect. After telling Soul and Pie that I am allergic to detergents with strong perfumes they were so accomodating to ensure that nothing was used on my sheets or towels. Each morning we were greeted warmly and introduced to other guests by first name. We were made to feel like family. The location of El Primero was also fabulous; we were close enough to everything that the drive to anywhere we wanted to go in San Diego ranged from five to ten minutes.
