Leaving. It was filthy.“Don't stay here. The room was very run down looking and the shower was absolutely filthy. The linens were clean but the moment I turned out the lights to go asleep I felt as if things were crawling all over me and I could not fall asleep for ages. The staff was relatively friendly but that's of no use when you're room is a dump. I'm pretty easy going when it comes to hotel rooms but I draw the line at filth.”

It met our budget needs. It was in the middle of the Ghetto and felt unsafe.“I would only stay here again if I was desperate and poor like last weekend. The staff was very helpful and friendly, but the neighborhood was a bit scary.”

Never Again

04/01/2008 - This hotel was not fit to occupy. We tried to leave when we saw the condition of the room but were told we reserved the room, we pay for the room. (There is an expectation that the room is acceptable.) We canceled the second night upon arrival and were informed that they would do us a favor and let the second night charge slide. The towels in the bathroom looked as if they had been used by the last guest and never cleaned. There was hair in the bed and one pillow case was soiled. The cushion of at least one chair was so dirty we hated to have to use it. I requested a clock from the desk clerk, but never received it. The condition of the bath tub was simply deplorable. It appeared that someone tried to refinish the bathtub using a paint-on material. Unfortunately it didn't work as it was pealing away all around the drain. (This was disturbing as I wondered what type of bacteria could be growing under the peeling.) The shower head was rusted as was the overflow drain cover. We found on the floor two pieces sausage for some prior guests' pizza, a pony tail holder, a box of cigarettes, and a bottle cap. It took two of us to lock the window. A locked window is needed for protection against the sleazy neighborhood.

King bed paid for queen. No clock, phone, hard bed.“The room was big, they upgraded from a queen bed to a king bed, but there was no alarm clock or phone and the place needed of being remodeled badly. There were no places to park because they were repaving the parking lot. They should've used the money to fix up the hotel better instead of the parking lot. Good place to stay if it is a one night stay! Breakfast was blueberry muffins!”

There were no bugs. The pillows were a 1/4" thick.“Due to the bad neighborhood the hotel is located in, we decided to see the room before we checked in to make sure it was clean. There was a spilled soda on the AC/heating unit that was never wiped up. The carpet was just laid in the room after being cut. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless there was absolutely no where else to stay.”

Easy access of the interstate.Doors slamming all night and loud cars.“Desk help was very friendly and helpful when we needed another room. There were bugs on the floor of the hotel rooms. Loud cars and slamming doors all night long kept from getting a good night sleep. There was only 1 close restaurant other than MC`s and places like that to eat.”
