I was very pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The room was a nice value room. Shower was hot and strong. Towels were soft and full. Pillows were medium and adequate. It was a nice room to come back to during the trip. The location was excellent for walking to Hollywood Blvd. and other shopping and sites. Paramount Studios is nearby. Enterprise car rental was about a block away (very useful and recommended). Upon renting a car, the hotel guest parking is gated and secure. Reliable food is also nearby. I'd stay here again if I go back to the Hollywood area. I wouldnt recommend this hotel! The bed was dirty! There are human hairs on the sheets and blankets. We had to use the spare blankets I carry in my car to sleep. We came to Hollywood for a concert and when we got back, there werent enough parking spaces inside so we had to park on the street! When we call for the username and password for the wireless internet, the person at the front desk gave us wrong information. The staff isnt friendly and unapproachable. During our stay, we didnt feel welcome at all! It was clean, the lady at the front desk made us feel VERY comforatble. Only problem was the plug situation. Other than that we felt safe, great location, and the rooms were clean. All we needed was a safe place to lay our heads and that is what we got. No issues at all. This isnt the Ritz but I think thats why they call it the ECONOLODGE. The service was excellent in doing the beds and cleaning up in the rooms. 2. Wireless internet connection was great especially having to find something I was able to do so easily and quickly with out having to ask what was around. 3. The only thing that bothered me was the breakfast that they offered was not all that. English muffins that look like they went bad. One had green mold on it. 4. Great to just stay only to sleep at if your just going to go for a business trip or around the town.
