Looked like someone peeled the paint off the door and they panted over it leaving a circle on the door. We had a great time the rooms were nice and the staff were very helpful. I loved the indoor and outdoor pools they were very clean. I stayed for 3 nights it was only 105$ i was amazed by the coast because for the great rooms amazing pools and so close to down town i didnt understand how cheap it was. My family and i had a great time. The only thing i didnt like about my stay was having to leave i will be coming back very soon. He mentioned to them that we have AAA so we received the rate of $62.05 for each night. He also asked them if there were any other charges. They said no. He then asked the woman would there be a charge if we cancelled. She said no just contact me before 4pm to let her know if we do decide to cancel. So he booked the room. We arrived and we were billed $140.98. He asked why so much...10% sales tax and they charged us $1.50 a day for a safe we did not know they had in the room. Nevertheless, we stayed but when we checked out I made sure we were credited the $3.22 for the safe we did not use. This is one motel we will never return to. http://www.travelpost.com//hotels/Econo_Lodge_Downtown/r471426 http://www.travelpost.com//hotels/Econo_Lodge_Downtown/r375576 We stayed a couple of nights in a queen double bed room..The room was clean and had a fridge and safe to go with it.We were happy as we had brought our own sodas and beers!!The location is excellent as you can walk down to the Lake George Village board walk from the hotel and there are a lot of restaurants which are walking distance from the hotel.And it's a nice walk in spring/summer.One of the reason's we stayed here is we did not have to look for parking as this was centrally located with free parking.Prospect Mountain is about 5-8 minutes drive from the hotel. There is a free continental breakfast but it's a basic breakfast donuts,cofee,o.j.english muffins,jelly,etc. But it's a carrout breakfast ...no room to sit. One more thing...the room we were in had only a shower...but for the price and convenience it's definitely worth it. I just wanted to use the debit card.
