Nothing. The bullet holes in the windows. The Econolodge in temple hills, Maryland needs to be removed from the priceline.com website. I canceled my reservation immediately after arriving there from Kentucky. I did not even unload my car. This hotel is in an extremely dangerous area of town just outside of Washington dc. It is surrounded by low income high-rise housing and drive thru liquor stores. It is not safe for travelers, or anyone else for that matter.

NEVER AGAIN!!!

We stayed at the hotel at 3131 Branch Avenue in Temple Hills, MD the nights of October 3,4,5,6, 2007. This was absolutely the worst hotel we have ever stayed at --- and we have stayed at many throughout this country, Canada, Mexico and Europe. The security doors (outside) did not lock. The police were there 3 of the 4 nights we stayed there. We would have gladly left, but the desk man would not give us a refund for the unused nights. Our suitcases had been gone through, and my jewelry was stolen. When we talked to the man at the desk, he was totally unconcerned, and would not even call the police for us.
This was a nightmare.

It was close to Downtown DC and right next to the metro. The hotel was rather run down and could have been cleaner. The owners were pleasant and helpful and as a single woman traveler, I felt safe enough.

The rooms were cleaned well everyday

The rooms were cleaned well everyday. The man at the front desk was consistently rude. Very close to the metro station. Only about 1/3 block away. That was a great help to us.
