We went to our room and found that it was already occupied. Another arrival on our floor found that his cardkey would not work. This necessitated a trip back down to the first floor by both of us to correct our respective problems. I was rewarded by being given a room that fronted busy Sepulveda Avenue. No apologies were given. I call ahead and confirm my rez and the type of bed I want, and I have always gotten it (even when I check in after 11 pm) The rooms are good sized, and clean and do well for an overnight stay. It is next to an on ramp to the 405. Is next door to Dinah's, a landmark diner with a $3.25 breakfast week days that will fill you up--even had grits which is important to this old redneck--you don't need to rent a car!
