Check In was a breeze. The front desk was very efficient and pleasantly told us of a managers reception in an area off the front lobby. WE were handed a card which entitled us to free beverages from 5:30 till 7 pm. We were also advised breakfast would be served in the same area the next morning from 7 to 10 am. I thought, ok, another continental breakfast, big deal. No way, this was a full breakfast! Cereal, French Toast, Waffles, Sausage Gravy and Biscuts, Eggs, Sausages, and more. Room was very clean, the beds were great. Needless to say I will be looking for a Drury Inn in every way that I plan to visit. I recently stayed at this hotel for business travel. The accomodations and location couldnt have been better. What was most impressive to me was the integrity and honesty of the staff. In my haste to make my return trip home, I checked out and left my laptop behind. I was extremely bummed because I thought my lap top was long gone. It was nearly 4 hours later when I realized I left it behind but when I called, my laptop was turned in and I was so relieved! The hotel package my property up and had it mailed to me within 36 hours. Not just that, I figured I would have to pay shipping or something since it was not the hotels fault but my own. Instead my laptop arrived priority and I am so thankful. I highly recommend this hotel for more reasons than the quick return of my property. My room was cozy, the staff was very accomodating and the ammenities rate high. The pool was amazing....I have nothing bad to say. Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable and great pillows. Fresh popcorn and coffee and fountain drinks in lobby. Social in evening with snacks and drinks provided. Nice older man was bartender he was great! Highly recommend. But the cost, location, and good reviews got us to try. They do a free breakfast in the morning and free 3 drink happy hour each evening. Both were very good. Staff was great! Very clean. Got an oversized suite for about $118 per nite, which I thought was pretty cheap. About 15 mins out of the heart of town, which was fine by us. Still not wild about the name, too close to Dreary, for my liking, but a great place to stay! Columbus is a short drive that we took one evening and other than that all our dealing was with the north end. The three drinks was a very nice touch. Drury Inn & Suites is the cleanest, friendliest, and most comfortable of any in their price range. All the extras aside, and there are plenty, the room and overall facilty cleanliness was incredible. I easily recommend this chain of outstanding hotels to anyone who asks, "where do you think we should stay in ......
