We stayed for 1 night in the hotel and was not impressed. I would not give it a 4 star rating. # would be more appropriate. The bed was not a queen size but smaller. They moved me to another room and the bed size was the same. Also, the ceiling had paint peeling and the shower had the fixtures coming off the wall. The carpet was not very clean with stains on it.On the plus side, the room was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. It would not be a hotel I came back to.

4th visit. Great location. Near subway and central to everything. Great and helpful staff helped me print return boarding pass @ No-charge. Extremely comfortable bed. Neutrogena toiletries and sunscreen provided. Extra security in the evenings added since my last visit. Overall a terrific value!

Great hotel, close to shopping and subway. The room (a double) was small but fine. Very clean and quiet. Great workout facility. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only surprise: a $2 per bag fee to leave your luggage after checkout. But would definitely stay again.

Great midtown location, near Rockefeller Center and not far from Broadway / Times Square. Room I was in was average size and very comfortable. Shower had almost instant hot water and great water spray. WONDERFUL staff, friendly attitude. Excellent concierge desk. Almost didn't believe I was in NY, except for the food prices. Don't touch the mini-bar / refrigerator unless you want to be charged . . . hansomely. Room had excellent HD big screen TV. Beds very comfortable. NO continental breakfast, but hotel restaurant opened early. Plenty of other restaurant and deli choices nearby. Ask for rooms away from the elevator if you don't like much noise at night. Sounds a bit like the ocean, but might bother some folks. The elevators are some of the fastest of any hotel in which I've ever stayed. Almost across the street from St. Patrick's Cathedral and very near St. Barnabas, Episcopal. Have a good time.

Bait and Switch! I Won't Be Back!

Stayed there once before and it was a full service hotel. I pre-purchased several nights this trip only to learn after arriving that the hotel no longer offers such basic services as room service (except at night) and the restaurant is rarely open. You can't even get a cup of coffee sent to your room in the morning, yet they charge the same as a full-service Midtown hotel!

When I complained, the general manager never returned my call. When I called again, the manager on duty told me with great sarcasm that "life is full of disappointments."

There are many, many options for better NY hotels at this price range. I will not be back.

Wireless and ethernet connections are poor, slow and management is slow to respond to rectifying these problems which make it a difficult property to stay at when on a business trip.
