Stayed in a Times Square view room on the 35th floor. Wonderful view of Times Square! Lots of space. Definately would stay again. Much better then the rooms at the more expensive Marriott Marquis and better views as well.

This was our 2nd visit to NYC with teens and 2nd stay at this hotel. GREAT location--Times Square, Broadway and 5th Ave. shopping. Security at the hotel is great--very comforting to know that only guests are allowed upstairs. Staff at the desk very helpful and courteous. Great rooms for families. All beds were comfy EVEN the pullout was great. We all give this hotel THUMBS UP !!!

All Review Photos This is a wonderful Times Square hotel. It's on the corner of 47th Street and 7th Avenue. The Doubletree Guest Suites Times Square boasts some of the largest hotel rooms in Midtown Manhattan. It soars 45 floors above Times Square and the Broadway Theater District. You can very easily walk to Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center, Madison Square Garden, Carnegie Hall, and any Broadway show regardless of theater location, 5th Avenue shopping, David Letterman's show studio, Central Park South and one of two origination points of the Gray Line Bus tours as well as tons of other opportunities. Show a security guard your hotel key and then you're allowed to access the elevator which transports you to the reception area on the second floor. This greatly limits people walking in off the street and unwanted visitors. Next door, but belonging 'in' the hotel, is a theater for Broadway shows. Every suite is a minimum of a two-room suite. I had a queen bed suite on the northwest corner overlooking the northern part of Times Square and the center of Times Square. The room was right across from the elevators but noise was rarely detected. The bed was so comfortable had I been able to sneak it out of there to take it home with me I would have tried hard to do so! The sheets were silky smooth, the blanket and comforter so soft and cuddly, the pillows wonderful. There is a TV in the living area as well as the private bedroom. Housekeeping staff come in with a turn down service and delicious chocolates on your pillow. Two comfortable terry cloth robes hung in the bathroom, which was very spacious with large vanity sink and mirror area and plenty of space between the sink and toilet/shower area. The towels were super soft and standard sized. The hotel uses Neutrogena as the brand for shampoo and conditioner for your convenience. The hotel is a full service hotel offering in-room dining, a concierge service, 24-hour security, and a fitness center with cardio and circuit training equipment. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in the Broadway atmosphere of the Center Stage Café on the third floor. Cocktails are served in the Cabaret Lounge. You'll find wonderful accommodations and fantastic service from each staff member. If you arrive prior to check-in, baggage storage is available. Laundry and valet service is also available. The staff is multi-lingual. Safety deposit boxes are available. There is a fitness center for those who don't get enough exercise walking around town ;)For families, cribs and high chairs are available. The policy states 'no pets', however this does not apply to service animals and while staying there I noticed that military with trained dogs were guests staying there as well.Check in time is 3pm, check out time is at noon.

We decided to take a weekend trip to

We decided to take a weekend trip to Times Square in new York city and were going to stay in the Hilton but then had a change in thought and stayed at the doubleTree Guest suites in times square.

Arrival: We arrived around 6 pm and the instant we arrived at the curb there were bellmen with carts ready to take our luggage up the elevator as on the ground level there is only a set of elevators that take you up to the lobby level. They offered to park our car but we chose to park it ourselves. arrival gets a 10/10.

Check-in: We got on the elevator and went up to the lobby level on the third floor. the lobby was huge and the ceilings were high. there were concierge services, Krispy Kreme donut shop, and high speed internet in the lobby. we were instantly given our key cards and freshly baked signature cookies from the delightful doubletree staff. Check in gets a 10/10

Room: We went up to the 25th floor and arrived at our rooms. This is an all suite hotel and it is like a Springhill suites by marriot but a lot better than the Springhill if you read my review about springhill suites in Alaska. There was a living room with a tv, desk with high speed internet, pull out couch, wetbar area and and a separate bedroom with a huge armoir and another television. There were 2 entrances from the bathroom. one from the living rooma nd one from the bedroom. The room was clean and had neutrogena toiletries which is a nice touch. there was a mini bar too but the stuff inside was quite pricey. Room gets a 10/10

Other features: The doubletree has a few restaurants like a bar and a sit down restaurant that has a great breakfast. There is no pool or jacuzzi but what do you expect in the middle of the city. they had free concierge services. serices gets a 7/10

Check out: check out was simple and quick. The staff thanked us and we were on our way. check out gets a 10/10.
