Our bathtub drain was clogged so we called maintenance and he showed up with a plunger! He "fixed" the clog and left. We checked the drain and not only did he leave a chewing tobacco smell, the problem was not resolved. We went to the front desk personally to ask the person on duty to please have maintenance take another look and to have housekeeping clean the tub. We came back hours later and the job was still not done. We changed rooms and this room was a little better but the towels still felt slimy and the bathtub felt a little slippery. I do not recommend this place as the customer service was terrible. It was a waste of money. I could have gone to a lower grade motel and gotten better service. The room was dirty. The light over top the sink did not work. The bathroon was disgusting. There was mold on the ceiling. And a roach crawled across my 3 year olds foot. I was appalled when I called the front desk and they were unwilling to do anything about it. And the hotel was in a very bad part of town. So my boyfriend and I took our 4 children and went home. They refused to refund our money and they obviously don't care that their hotel is dirty and roach infested. Do not attempt to stay here with children; they may see things you dont want them to. The first room made me ill while in the room. After they switched my room there was no health problem. The room smelled like a gas leak. There were 4 of us in a room and only 2 towels. It took a day to get the other two towels. For the last night we were in a different room because of a free night stay- we needed to check out and check back in. We were in the room for a total of about 10 minutes. Several roaches were on the sink, dresser, floor and bed. We left immediately and had to find another hotel at 9:00pm with 2 kids. The staff was friendly. The pool was closed down for the first day and looked neglected. Staff wasn't concerned with this problem. They offered no help in locating clean towels.“The beds were comfortable. The hotel didn't live up to the photos that were posted on the internet. Rooms were in need of a few repairs and the staff was generally not very helpful. I have never been to a hotel that did not have towels in the room. Thank goodness we still had our beach towels. We received one towel at check in to be used for the pool. One towel for a party of 3. The bedsheets were stained brown, the doorframe looked like it had been broken in, there was mold in the bathroom, and that was only one of the rooms! Also, the pool closes very early at nine p.m. and there is no housekeeping available at nights (so don't expect any extra blankets or clean sheets!)
